Animania was SO EFFIN AWESOMEEEEEE!

It's been such a hectic yet exhilarating weekend, but it was definitely all worth it. I loved every single moment of it. Every. single. one =D

Saturday;
Woke up at 6:30am, and had some sticky rice for breakfast. Ended up missing the 7:12am train we all agreed to catch, so I caught the 7:26am train. We didn't end up catching the same train, but coincidentally, Annie and Lisa caught the same train AND went into the same carriage as me - must be fate ;) So off we went to animania to meet up with the others.

By the time we arrived, Jue was already working on the stall in Food fair. Pocky, remune and Calpis, yay! (Also known as cow piss, lol) Before the gates of town hall were opened, Jue, Kerin and I spent our time quizzing each other on the price of the items. It's practically drilled into our minds, seriously.

People started to trickle in by 10am. That's also is when my break was supposed to begin, but since I'm such an eager volunteer, I followed Jackson and Kerin to World Square to pick up bread from bread lovers' paradise, Breadtop. Carried a box of 70 breads and some ice back to Town Hall and went through the main registration section. By then, a looooong queue had accumulated =/ Around 200, maybe? Random fans decided to video record us because we're cool =)

During my break I walked around the convention to shop around. It wasn't too long before I bumped into Kevin and Maria. Kevin decided to blow $70 on 2 plushies =/ *nods* I bought some keyrings, badges and chibi bookmarks, yay! After what seem to be 5 hours later, I look at my watch - it still read 10am. Unfortunately, out of all days, my watch decided to run out of battery. Luckily there was half an hour still my shift, so off I went to the Green Room to lounge before working my butt off for the next 3 hours selling pocky and drinks. LOL advertising ramune is so easy. It's more commonly known as the marble drink - you push down the cap, and a marble falls into the soft drink, attracting all these bubbles. It's so cool! We sold all 240 bottles in one day, leaving no stock for Sunday. Wendy bought one too because she's cool =) In the midst of all the hectic sales, Jackson managed to get Mark and I some fried rice from the green room for lunch. Kerin already ate during his break, so off we worked again.

Err, memory loss is getting to me. I don't really remember what happened yesterday. OHH, yeah! I really wanted the Ren necklace from NANA, but nooo I couldn't find it. Somehow Darren managed to find the one&only Ren necklace and bought it for Vvn. NOO i'm so jealous =( But since you two are so cute, I'm not going to kill you =D Anyway, my next shift was spent watching a bit of cosplay with Kevin, Maria, Wendy, Coron, Winna Anna H. and her sister, Vivien and Darren. There were some really cute cosplays! I wish I cosplayed, damn.

More working after break. I SAW CASEY, OMG! Turns out she's David's godsis & also knows Antony. It's such a small world. I haven't seen you in ages ><

[Edit] Arghhh blogspot keeps eating up my posts! So I've lost a whole chunk of my blog entry. Anyway, we finished at 7pm, but I bummed around for half an hour with Sam, Reika and Lily in the games hall before heading of to Chinatown. Had dinner, arrived home at 10:30, took a shower, SLEPT.

Sunday;
At 6am, I woke up and took a shower. Felt dead. Had breakfast, then got driven to Parramatta to catch the 7:26am train again. This may sound really weird but Lisa&Annie, Anna&David and I were all in 3rd carriage on the 7:26am train, but we didn't bump into each other =/ Anna&David and I bumped into each other at the station though. For some reason, times were screwed up this morning so we started everything late.

Selling merchandise wasn't as fun as Food fair. For one, there were less people on Sunday than Saturday, which meant there were less customers. Maybe I'm just a big fan of food. I spent most of the time taking photos. There were 3 cosplayers who dressed up as Byakuya, but only one was a guy. Omgosh he was so tall =/ Byakuya, my future husbandddd! LOL have you ever seen a cat play DDR? Or Pacman? Ninjas? Shinigamis? Hilarious stuff. Bumped into Jessica too ><' haven't seen her in years. Oh, and several seftoners came. During my lunch break, I left Town Hall to meet up with Boris because he didn't want to go to Animania =( Walked around in circles (killing my legs in the process), but he finally decided to go to Sushi train. Hehe, Boris is gay. But since he's ohsoverynice and connected, we got free GJs from his friend. YAY! Thankyou to Boris and his NICER friend =) Which means next time, I have to get him Easyway. Easyway owns all!

Back to work at 2:30pm, but business was quiet. So this is how it feels to have a failed business.. It was quiet for pretty much the whole day. Since we got to sit down in chairs, Jue&I were able to regain strength in our knees. Woot!

I'm too tired to blog now. It's been a tiring weekend. Many groups photos were taken. Here's one of the merchandise team - ignore our gay green vests, lol. We didn't get to keep those, luckily. Haha. Go, merchandise!
