- R.I.P. steven irwin

"The Crocodile Hunter - Dead." It was quite a shock when I first found about Steve Irwin's death. Sure, his stunts were risky and dangerous nevertheless; but this was quite unexpected. Yesterday, Steve Irwin was the last thing on my mind. Today, however, is a new day. People come, people go. At some stage, you realise time doesn't wait for anyone - it eventually catches up to you, and in the blink of an eye, it's the end. Your life just disappears, like words erased from a page. All that remains is the faint trace of lines, now meaningless, that eventually wither away along with the yellowing paper. Grasp every opportunity, and cherish what you have while you can. Steve Irwin really did live life to the extreme - but he died what he loved doing most. He was the Australian icon. Although I was never a fan, it still saddens me that his life was taken away so drastically. One fatal accident, thousands of lives affected. God bless Steve Irwin, rest in peace.
